Send Advertising Notice to Referral Authorities

This screen allows a Responsible Authority to select which Referral Authorities require a Section 52 Advertising Notice. If a notice has been previously sent then this screen will provide the option to send notices under Section 57B.

The action is prompted by the option selected on the "Determine Advertising Requirements" screen. A mandatory action will be displayed once the Advertising instructions have been authenticated when the option to send immediately was selected. An optional action is available when the option to send later was selected.

A list of Referral Authorities will be displayed along with the options "Don't Send Notice" or "Section 52 Notice" or in cases where notices have been previously sent, "Section 57B Notice". The Responsible Authority will be required to attach a copy of the Advertising Notice as a PDF file.

Steps

  1. Select the mandatory (or optional) action "Send Advertising Notice to Referral Authorities".
  2. On the "Send Advertising Notice to Referral Authorities" screen, select "Section 52 Notice" radio button for each Referral Authority that requires an advertising notice. The default is "Don't send notice".
  3. Browse for, and attach the appropriate PDF file.
  4. Click on 'submit'.
  5. A confirmation message will be displayed on the Details Screen.
  6. To complete the process, the "Advertising Notices to Referral Authorities" must be authenticated using your SPEAR password.

A notification email will be sent to the selected Referral Authorities.

Note: If Advertising Notices have been sent previously to Referral Authorities, the screen will display "Section 57B" not "Section 52". The radio button(s) will default to "Section 57B" where the most recent selection was "Section 52".
